Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using https://reelscraft.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What we provide

Reelscraft is a web application that generates short-form video content (reels) based on a URL you provide. We use AI to profile your brand, draft captions, and compose video recipes. Final renders are delivered as downloadable MP4 files.

3. Credits & payments

The Service uses a prepaid credit system. Each reel download costs one (1) credit. New accounts receive five (5) free credits on signup.

Additional credits are available as one-time purchases. Credits do not expire and are non-refundable once reels have been rendered against them. If a render fails due to a fault on our side, credits are restored automatically.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of any URLs, brand profiles, and captions you submit. By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide the Service.

You must only submit URLs and content you have the right to use. You may not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's APIs
  • Use the Service to generate spam, disinformation, or hateful content
  • Attempt to circumvent credit limits or authentication
  • Resell credits or access without our written permission

6. Third-party assets

Background footage is sourced from Pexels (pexels.com/license), greenscreen layers from Giphy, and sound effects from Myinstants — all under their respective free/commercial licences. We do not claim ownership of these assets. You are responsible for reviewing the licence terms of any asset included in your renders before publishing.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will suit any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reelscraft and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Unused credits at the time of termination for cause are forfeited.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
